TCU women's basketball defeats the Kansas Jayhawks 79-77
TCU guard Olivia Miles led the way with 20 points, six assists and four rebounds on the night before fouling out with 13 seconds left in the game.
Donovyn Hunter was firing on all cylinders, going 3-3 from the three-point line in the first quarter. She finished the game with 15 points.
TCU guard Marta Suarez was the third highest scorer for TCU, dropping 11 points before fouling out with five minutes to go in the 4th.
First year Clara Bielefeld delivered a spark off the bench, finishing the game with nine points. She hit a big-time three in the fourth to put TCU up six with two minutes to go in the game.
With the win, the TCU Horned Frogs move to 20-2 on the year, also extending the longest home winning streak in D-1 basketball at 38 games.
They play next Wednesday at home versus the Houston Cougars with tip-off slated for 6:30 p.m.
